Lt. Dr. Pragya Singh is the Head of the Center for Continuing Education & Outreach Programs and an Associate Professor in the Department of Management Studies at the Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIITA), Prayagraj. She joined IIITA in September 2012 and brings over two decades of distinguished academic experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. Her areas of expertise include Marketing and Entrepreneurship for management students, along with Professional Communication for engineering students. She holds a Ph.D. in Commerce and has successfully supervised doctoral research in the fields of Digital Marketing, Consumer Behavior and Patent monetization along with guiding researchers in the domain of financial investment & analysis. Her academic and scholarly contributions have earned her several recognitions and awards. Lt. Dr. Singh previously served as the Head of the Department and is also recognized as a Rastriya Karmayogi member under the prestigious Government of India initiative. Internationally, she serves as a Visiting Professor at the University of Cagliari, Itlay as well as at Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences and Hof University of Applied Sciences, Germany. She is also an FCMH Fellowship Holder (2026), sponsored by Justus Liebig University Giessen, Technische Hochschule MittelhessenUniversity of Applied Sciences, and Philipps University Marburg in Germany. In addition, she holds the position of Honorary Research Fellow at Shinawatra University, Thailand. Beyond academia, Lt. Dr. Pragya Singh actively contributes to nation-building through her role as an Associate NCC Officer (ANO). She received formal training at the NCC Officers Training Academy under the Army Wing of the Directorate General NCC, Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
