Bharat Gupta (IIT2014156), Shivam Awasthi (IIT2014155),Rudraksha Gupta (IIT2014158), Likhama Ram (IIT20141631), Pramod Kumar (IIT2014082) and Bakshi Rohit Prasad (RS151) have received Best Paper Award in 2017 International Conference on Big-Data and Cloud Computing (ICBDCC-2017), Karunya University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India for their research paper titled “Taxi Travel Time Prediction using ensemble based Random Forest and Gradient Boosting model” .

Its a pleasure to share that IIITA team comprising of Shefali Vinod Ramteke, Paawan Kumar, Yugratna Srivastava that participated in RBI Policy Challenge 2016-2017 has been adjudged as best entry in the region.The team is going to participate in the ZONAL round to be held at New Delhi.

Rakesh Kumar Reddy (IEC2013045), Nikhil Sowrya (IEC2013063) and Adithya Sasha Sai (IEC2013066) of BTech (ECE)-VII Sem have received 1st position all over India in prestigious Mentor Graphics University Design Contest-2016. The awards ceremony will held on Jan 12th, 2017 in Bangalore and the students will be receiving 1.5 Lakhs prize money. Mentor Graphics University Design Contest was aimed at providing an opportunity for engineering students from different technology streams to participate in the contest and demonstrate their technical capabilities, problem solving, project management and design skills in a contest against their peers. The problem statement was to efficiently design tracer data compressor in FPGA using ModelSim.
