The Department of Applied Sciences, Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad (IIIT-A) is going to organize an online workshop on the Geometry of Banach Spaces and its Applications during December 31, 2021 - January 02, 2022. The aim of this workshop is to motivate and expose the M.Sc./M.Tech./PhD students, and researchers from different areas of science and engineering to the area of Geometry of Banach Spaces and its Applications. It also aims to provide a platform for exchanging ideas and exploring the possibility of future collaboration for researchers working in different areas of Geometry of Banach Spaces and its applications.

The Short term programme is focused around basics and contemporary developments in the Analytics domain with Analytics case studies and it unfolds the concepts, techniques and the best practices related to Data Analytics (DA). The objective is to train the participants how to apply these DA concepts, tools and techniques using case study methods and self-service Data analytics and visualization Software. Participants will have enough hands-on experience.This programme is designed to make the participants aware how to get business insights by analyzing the Data / Information available in various pockets in the organization. Participants will also learn how to collate Data, convert them to Information and then get Business Insight using prudent Practices, Tools, Techniques and interactive visualizations with Business Process Mining and Business Analytics approaches. While including This short term programme will help the participants understand these latest trends and their impact on the Financial services industry and get future ready.

The 9th International Conference on Big Data Analytics (BDA 2021) will be held online during December 15-18, 2021. The conference will be organized by Indian Institute of Information Technology Allahabad, India. BDA 2021 provides an international forum for researchers and industry practitioners to share their original research results, practical experiences and thoughts on big data from different perspectives including storage models, data access, computing paradigms, analytics, information sharing and privacy, redesigning mining algorithms, open issues and future research trends.

This national conference aims to concretize various business rules related to academics, administration and financial aspects of FAP such that a 4 year pilot run of FAP (initially for technical education) may be conducted through a consortium of institutes/universities w.e.f. the academic year 2022-23.

The rapid advancement in the area of Optical Networks provides excellent capacity in terms of Bandwidth. Here, the Optical Network is being used as the backbone network. The aim of this Workshop is to update the knowledge of the participants towards Optical Network and Photonics principles. This workshop will also introduce the participants to the current practices in the field and will help in developing the research aptitude in this area. The topics to be covered are Introduction to Optical Networks and Routing Techniques, Modulation/DeModulation Techniques in Optical Network, Optical Time Division Multiplexing (OTDM), WDM/Single and Multi Hop Networks, Protection and Restoration in Optical Networks, Deep Learning for Design of Photonic Structure, Photonic Crystal Fibers (PCF) and Plasmonics Network, etc. Lectures and Lab/Hands-On Sessions would help to understand it in better way.
